SG, AUCC Grant Program for Katzen & Greenberg

The Student Government has joined with the American University Club Council (AUCC) to create a grant to help arts group on campus pay the costs associated with the rental of Katzen Arts Center and the Greenberg Theater.

All AU-sponsored clubs and organizations are able to apply for the grant via an application that can be found in the SG offices or through this link. The application will ask the organization questions concerning the nature and costs of the event.

Grants will come from a $6,000 fund, sponsored jointly by Student Government President Seth Cutter and the AUCC.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee made up of the SG Director of Outreach, the SG Arts Council Chair and two representatives from the AUCC. They will meet bi-weekly or once a month, depending on the volume of applications received. Grants will be issued at the discretion of this committee.

E-mail Chris Guizlo, Arts Council Chair, at with any further questions.
